I learned of St. Kateri Tekakwitha only today, but I was deeply affected by her story. Her own experiences seem a microcosm of the erasure of Indigenous peoples worldwide. I myself am of predominantly Indigenous American ancestry, but I know little of my historical people (likely the Caxcan) due to the sins of the past which continue to be committed. St. Kateri Tekakwitha, pray for us, that no peoples plight be overlooked. Thank you for the wonderful website.
