I’m an 83 year old woman. I have loved St Kateri for a long time. My father said he prayed to her so that my mom could get pregnant. This happened after 9 years of marriage. In my dad’s prayer book I have a holy card with a prayer to St Kateri. It dates to 1934. l feel very grateful to this dear saint my parents prayer to her. May our Lord bless you

I am visiting this site to find inspirations to dedicate a large and beautiful oak tree in my backyard that has been with my family for decades that is now unfortunately dying due to a disease spread from another tree. Ironically it has pale scaring on its bark similar to St. Kateri’s scares from smallpox. The tree also has very large limbs and can cause a lot of damage if they come down. Looking for a miracle to bring our beloved tree and center piece of our yard back to life. I am also now the 2nd generation of my family to have recently become the steward of this home and tree so it would mean a lot if we can save this tree for my family and I. I have in the past done a pilgrimage to visit St. Kateri’s birthplace and burial place in northern NY and Canada. I feel a particular call and affinity to reach to out to her for this particular intersession. I plan to place a small image of her I’ve had prayed over her tomb on the tree for the dedication. If there is a prayer I can say let me know! Saint... Read more

The School Sisters of Notre Dame have a Statue in your honor at the motherhouse in MD where I first knew of you. How can I learn more about the life of such a young Saint?
